If you are in sixth grade and you're looking for 6th Grade Science Fair Projects to do, then I have some ideas for you. I have an ebook for sale that has three simple projects that are fast to do and require very little supplies. In addition I have also listed several general ideas that can be developed into projects as well.
6th Grade Science Fair Projects Ebook 1) The first project in the ebook will show you how different colors of objects or liquids absorb light differently. This has a huge effect on how hot things get for example when exposed to sunlight.
2) The second project investigates the process of evaporative cooling. This is one of the ways our body stays cool on a hot day. We sweat and when that liquid evaporates it tends to cool the skin.
The humidity or amount of moisture in the air will affect how fast water can evaporate and thus makes it harder for us to stay cool on a hot day when the humidity is also high.
3) The third sixth grade project will help you answer the question...does moss grow more on the north sides of trees and logs? North facing areas will get less sunlight than southern facing areas. Larger trees and logs will block the sun from hitting their north sides directly. Less sun means less drying of any available moisture that may be there.
